Dead Engine
Hi guys. This is my first post.I've mainly been learking for an answer. Anyways I just got a greddy twin 03 z with 60k.
Car was rough around the eadges but I got it at heck of a price.
Long story short, after taking care of all the sensor issues I found out it's got a blown motor.
Compression test showed 170psi on passenger bank and 130ish on driver wet and dry. Leakdown failed to maintain pressure on driver side all together. Leaking on both intake and oil filler/pcv.
Head gasket seems to be OK. No leakage between cylinders.
Has anyone ever seen whole bank go bad?
I got a new motor to go in it, but out of cueiosity, what would cause something like this.
