Default ECU HELP! Need new one?

So my supercharged 2006 350z fried some rings a while back and I was rebuilding a motor to swap in, After the swap I hooked up Osiris and loaded in the stock tune back to the car. After that, I cranked up the car and it ran really rough. I ended up getting a few codes, one of them being a No Memory code for the ECU, I was told that the ECU is toast and will need replaced. The motor also ended up jumping some teeth on the timing chain and locked up. Anyways, I took the car to a friend and he he rebuild the motor and put it all back together and fired it up. The car ran better but still not perfect, its not throwing the no memory code he said.

So my question is, am I going to need to replace the ECU? and if so is there anything else I need to do when replacing? I saw something about the NATS and reprogramming keys and stuff, do you really need to do all that? I dont even think I have a security system in my base model. Thanks.
