Was th battery unhooked for winter storage? I had this happen and a code came up, I cleared it with my scanner and it was fixed.

What you describe is a catastrophic ECU failure.

Are you able to capture any codes?

It's very odd that you are not getting any codes. I would probably try a different repair shop.

It's the Unified A/C & Meter Amp. Should be a white box located under the stereo with a ribbon cable going to it.

As I stated earlier, it’s likely a problem with your ECU.

Nissan has a service bulletin describing this issue (code U1001). Its cause could be a poor ground connection in the harness (at the engine and/or the dash). Nissan recommends unplugging the harness, cleaning the connection, and reconnecting the harness.

I think you need to reset the engine light after doing this.

EDIT: I should have stated that ECU is a generic term that includes multiple electronic control devices (up to 80 now in modern cars).

Thoha Hassan’s problem (code U1001) is a ECU failure specific to the ECM, which is an individual Nissan ECU component.
