Awfully Loud Whining

Awfully Loud Whining
Hey guys. I know the transmission whining issue has been beaten to death on this forum, but my problem is different. About three weeks ago, after not driving my car for a few days due to surgery, I took my car to the store. On the way, I noticed it was making funny whining/sloshing noises that weren't there before. Noted it, thought it was my differential because my rear bushing had blown out. Those noises turned into an awful whining noise that only occurs during acceleration/deceleration. Thought it was my diff failing. Had the Whiteline poly bushing kit installed, was told the diff and driveline are in good condition. Still, the problem persists.
The noise is the most annoying whine I've ever heard. Like I said, it doesn't occur during idle, only during acceleration/deceleration. It kind of winds up and becomes louder as I shift into the next gear and my speed increases. It can be heard even at cruising speeds. When I come to a stop, it winds down until I finally come to a stop. The sound is aggravated by the cold, and turning, it seems. Another thing to note is that my car is making a rubbing noise when I put it in reverse. I thought it was my tires rubbing because the car is pretty low, but the car was raised in spring and I'm running the same tires as last winter. Wouldn't make sense for it to suddenly be rubbing. Also, I had my finger in the wheel wells with the wheel clocked to the left and there was no wheel well to tire contact. When the temperature is above 30 degrees, the sound is extremely faint or nonexistent. Anyone have any ideas??
Sorry for the long post, just trying to give as much info as possible and this is driving me CRAZY.
**Had the car inspected by a local shop. They couldn't diagnose it. Said nothing is lose, wheel bearings are fine, diff looks fine, etc.

Front lower control arms. Yes, I'm serious. Either that or the shop misdiagnosed it and it's a bearing.

the bearings in your diff are probably shot. happened to my buddy. for them to properly diagnose it would mean they had to drop your differential, open it up and inspect the bearings.
if that is the case, you will come out spending less money if you just try and find a used differential.

Thanks for the responses guys. Dropping the car off at JDS tomorrow and hoping for a definite diagnosis. Thinking my endlinks may have gone bad due to the car being pretty low...not sure about the whine. I'll post here if I find out what the problem is.
