Default 06 Headlight stopped working!!

My driver side Headlight has stopped working:/ car was sitting for a while and after removing the front end to do a motor swap, I noticed a lot of water sitting inside the housing. I drilled a hole in the bottom to let the water drain out. After resembling, I noticed the light does not work, so I took the light back out to investigate. The bulb looks fine but there is come corrosion on the parts right beneath the bulb (sorry, not sure the name for this).

Does anyone know what the best solution may be to test or fix this issue? Thanks!!!

the contact... take a finger nail file and shove in there and remove the corrosion... see if it works..... take the other headlight bulb and put in the non working side to see if it is bulb or ballast, and put the drivers bulb in other side to see if bulb works....
