Good Day all,
Doing a rad change, basically I have everything out, getting ready to drop the new radiator in but the clips at the bottom for the AC condenser will not fit into the new radiator, I have measured it and the radiator is the same size but its for an automatic Z (I have manual) and the bottom clips are about an 8th of an inch too small compared to the old one, the new radiator isn't from Nissan, got it from Rock auto. any suggestions would be appreciated, I have used the search bar but seems no one else has had the same issue, does the AC condenser (lines, etc) have to be disconnected and put in while the rad is out?
Thank you

It's been a few years since I replaced my radiator, but I don't recall having to d/c any a/c lines. Could be a difference in the manual vs. auto radiator. How did you end up with an auto version from Rock Auto?

Hmmm, either they sent me the wrong radiator or I clicked the wrong one to purchase, It drops in but I can't get the bottom clips for the condenser to click in.. angering me greatly , the only difference I have noticed other than that are two transmission lines in the front of the radiator

Yeah that's what i am prob going to end up doing, and prob order another one from somewhere else for the time being, I haven't tried re-installing the old rad to see if it fits properly and the new rad is the issue so ill do that as well just to see if it's something i'm doing wrong or what, I have looked for videos of the install on here but can't find any

Had the same issue with the 53mm Koyo, Two things i did:
1- use a screw driver and unbolt the 2 mounting tabs attached to the condenser.
2- Cut with a grinder or simply bend the AC condenser's mounting tabs attached to the radiator.
Then it can be dropped in with no problem.

I just noticed at the bottom of the condenser there are bolts... stupid me I did not even look or think about that, as long as the top bolts line up right..
