Hey guys, I need to replace the studs in the cats that connect to the pipes, they are striped and there is no way I can put my exhaust back up, I got them loose but they won't come out all the way because the cats are in the way, how do I get them out so I can get my exhaust back up? They are stock cats, please help!

 

One of the studs that go from the mid pipe to the muffler on the stock exhaust rusted up and stripped out and the other one snapped off on my car.

I just pulled the pipe out, used an air hammer to break the studs out and put stainless bolts in their place. They just have 3 little tack welds holding them in place.

 

Cut them or burn them off. Replace.
