Interior Fuse Box Wires to Meter Fuse Detatched?
Hello, ill start off by saying that I just bought my car yesterday - its an 04 with 120k on it.
Today I went to press the gas release - I am driving cross country. I accidently pushed the button in because it wasnt opening for an unknown reason to me. I discovered the positive battery terminal had gotten loose. I fixed it and upon doing so I went to put the gas tank button back in. I do - start car and notice that I have no dashboard lights or gauges of any sort working, including speedometer.
I have checked every fuse, none are fried. I can drive the car just fine but it should not be driven so I am trapped in georgia currently.
I notice 2 wires running from the METER fuse that are not currently attached to anything. Perhaps i disconnected them? I have scoured the web for over 12 hours and cannot find what the wires run to.
Please halp, Im stuck here and hotel money was supposed to be gas money.
TLDR; There are 2 wires from my fuse box at the Meter FUse that arent attached to anything, is this my problem?

Sounds like you pulled a wire that went to your cluster. The METER fuse feeds to a whole bunch of things. How did you check your fuses? Visually? Just know that a fuse can look fine and be dead.
I don't know how you accidentally disconnected wires running from your fuse box, but before your hotel bill get really expensive, you might want to consider get your car towed to a shop and just swallow the bill. Someone's going to need to troubleshoot this, and given that your battery was loose at the positive terminal, there's a good likelihood that something got fried.
That's the thing about buying used cars, and especially ones with high-miles: You're usually buying someone else's problems.
