hello there, i've had a couple of electrical problems this last couple of months, diagnostic expert repaired the wiring twice, but i was curious to what could be causing that. while changing the battery i took out the plastics covering the battery area and found a Rat building a nest, here in PR we are not used to dealing with rats in cars(very rare) but i know that in US while cars are in storage it is more common. Do you guys have any solutions for keeping any future rats out of the car? some well known solution or repellent?

 

Put a few mothballs in the space under the battery. That usually works with rodents. Either that or put rat poison around your property (I use Tomcat bait stations and they work well). We have rats everywhere in Seattle.
