Angry Misfiring Issue. Safe to drive? P0300.

Driving along and all of the sudden I have a loss in power and a really rough idle. I know these are symptoms of the dreaded P0300 code so I went and got it scanned at autozone. Sure enough I was right. They recommended new valve cover gaskets but they were fine. I took it to Nissan for further inspection and other than a dirty MAS they saw nothing that could be causing the misfiring. My thoughts were a bad coilpack or plugs. There is not any vacuum leaks as far as I can tell. My question is, is it safe to drive until I have time to get the coil packs checked out? Not sure if driving will damage anything. Any comments will be appreciated! Thanks.

Sorry if I posted in the wrong place...still figuring things out.

is it optimal to drive it that way, no not at all

coil packs aren't too bad and plugs are cheap.

Am I hurting anything by driving it? I runs fine half the time and then all of the sudden it randomly misfires.

Smile Update

After a quick clean and reoil of the filter things seem to back to normal. Looks like the coilpacks were fine after all.

Thanks for the help
