My ABS VDC SLIP Light came on about 2 weeks ago, it was a 50/50 chance if the lights were gonna come on.
2 weeks later right now, after every start, light will come on and stay on as soon as I press the brake, if I drive without touching the brake, the light will not come on.
Plug in my own OBD2 scanner and found no codes, went to Mike' Z Shop in Whittier, CA to do tranny swap, had them plug in their scanner, still nothing.
Something I notice is that the right front brake makes a noise when I press the pedal lightly, noise go away after pressing the pedal hard, and ABS randomly kick in on that side too.
Is it just the brakes pad worn? Could a worn pad trigger all 3 lights?
Thank you!

The fact that no codes showed up on your OBD II scanner is not unusual. The ECU only stores engine faults. ABS and airbag faults are stored in their own control units and many code scanners don't interrogate these units.

Check the ABS sensor on your right front brake with a scope. Most cars with ABS use a Hall effect sensor and you'll get a sine wave reading as you turn the wheel. If your sensor isn't working or if the ABS gear is missing teeth, that'll show up and explain why your ABS / VDC is engaging sporadically. It could be as simple as a bad connector. You probably wouldn't see this as a thrown code since the car's interpreting it as a locked wheel whenever the signal is interrupted.
