Default *Sigh* Airbag Diagnosis

I just got a 2005 350z and the airbag light is flashing. I got the codes. They are B1134 and B1054. I've already looked them up and B1134 is side air bag module is open. B1054 is driver side airbag module is open. From what I understand the driver side airbag module is just on the steering wheel. I'm not sure where B1134 is. From what I've found it is in the seat. Which doesn't seem easy to do. Does anyone have experience on diagnosing?

more than likely your car was wrecked, and it had the seat airbag... but it deployed along with steering wheel.. they didnt replace the steering wheel one and they and they replaced the seat a standard seat

Yeah, I'd pull the steering wheel apart and see if the bag and clock spring are there. The airbag seats have a little tag sewn into the outer edge of the backrest. Did you recently buy this car? You may have some recourse if the airbag issue wasn't disclosed.

You're probably right. Should have done a car fax on the car, but to my little knowledge of buying cars, the title is clean. Only real imperfection I can see is the rear bumper isn't fully aligned on the driver side.

No I knew about the airbag issue but didn't worry much about it. I didn't care much about it because I have a hook up for inspections around here. It was bought from a private party so I wouldn't consider recourse. I'm mostly worried about the front airbag but the side airbag in the seat doesn't worry me.
