Default Ripped convertible roof. What to do?!

Hello. I have a 6 inch tear in the roof of my convertible 350z.

Should i buy online, should i buy in person? I have no idea what to do.

The dealership would charge me 2500$ for the roof, and that does not include labour! I found a place here in Montreal that makes custom made roofs, they can do a perfect replica of the 350z, even in a better material, for 1600$ including installation.

Any other suggestions? wether its repairing, replacing, buying online or in person. Im in Montreal Canada but i dont mind ordering online .

thanks so much

Sounds to me like the custom top is the best deal. If you were in Colorado, I'd sell you an entire ZR top for less, but you'd have to live here.

I bought a canvas top from topsonline.com, $640 shipped and diy. Fairly straight forward project.
