Default Low oil pressure

Hey guys,

So I was running my Z pretty hard the other night and all of a sudden I had lost pressure and she was knocking really bad. I killed it right away but it sounds like the damage has been done.

Another note is that when I first stopped it sounded like a strange belt squeak but very quickly developed into a knock. I have adequate oil according to my dipstick and I just changed the oil 1k miles ago.

I am just looking to get some suggestions as to what caused the knocking before I go through tomorrow and drain the oil and start ripping it apart. This is my first Z so I just want to know what to look out for.

I know it could be that the bearings were worn although that doesn't explain the sudden loss as the car had been running excellently all night up until that point.

I know the sending unit could have gone bad or the pump could have gotten clogged. Also the galley gasket could have gone bad or a lifter got stuck?

I just want to know if there is anything else I should be looking out for.
