Default 350z Won't start

New to this website but wanted to find some help. My 350z has been having problems for years but couldn't find out the real problem and don't know to believe dealerships or not.

So anyways, when i go places and leave my car there for a few hours or even less sometimes, it will be dead. I test to see if it's dead by using the key clicker and if the car lights won't light up when i click unlock then it won't start and that'll be that. It takes about up to an hour and the car will start after each time it dies. People say it could be my alternator and/or battery because of my amp/speaker but they were testing and all good. I'm not sure what could be causing my car to die randomly most of the time when i leave it off for a while. Sometimes when i turn the car off it won't even start up right after. It always winds up starting up after sitting for about an hour tho as i said. The dealership keeps saying the computer but I dont know. Please help anyone. Will provide more information if needed or that i know so far.

Welcome and if you've taken it to a Nissan dealership for diagnosis, they likely scanned your ECM and BCM for trouble codes held in memory. "The dealership keeps saying the computer but I dont (sic) know." What did they tell you, exactly?

hmm...im having some similar issues but my problem seems to have alot more "depth" to it. I mightve let your problem go on for too long, but never too kan hour of sitting, at most 20 minutes.

Im having the same problem that seems like a batt/alt/charge system failure but if you take the time to play with it clearly an electrical failure/issue somewhere. Ive made a few posts about it, and for your sake, trust me when I say to get this taken care of sooner rather than later. My cars been outta commisison for almost a year...granter I dont drive it in the winter.
