Exclamation Overheating issue

2003 350z here that will not stop over heating. It all started a couple days ago when my radiator developed a leak and left me stranded. I replaced the radiator with a new one, but now I am having the issue where the car will all of a sudden just over heat. I haven't been driving it other than to test it out to see if things I've tried will keep it cool, but to no avail. I just had my engine rebuilt, and I don't know if that has anything to do, but I've done everything I know to do other than change my thermostat. (i.e leave the cap off while the engine is off to release any air bubbles, squeeze some of the hoses to act like a plunger for air, and pour antifreeze straight into the engine) I will be doing that here within the next couple of days to see if that solves my issue. If anyone has any recommendations I am happy to try something, I am becoming somewhat desperate to get this issue resolved. Thank you in advanced.

Did it overheat before your radiator developed the leak and left you stranded?
