So today was the first day i noticed it i have a 2003 nissan 350z touring model with 24k miles on it and i have an automatic transmission. When it shifts gears from 2nd to 3rd the rear differential feels like its shakes for a second almost feels like driving over a rough patch of road. This is the only gear shift this occurs. I dont know if its bc none of the fluids have ever been changed [gear oil or tranny fluid] or if the limited slip is bad. Ive read a lot that it could be clutch packs but i dont know if 350z have clutch packs. Im fairly new in the car scene and need some guidance i definitely worried if the transmission itself is bad and im hoping thats not the case.

So the fluids are possibly 14 years old, i would change them for peace of mind. Look at the rear subframe....do you have black goo coming from the bushing?

I do not know ill get under the car tomorrow morning for the time being im not going to drive it just to play it safe
