Alternator hookup
Engine cranks over so starter system is wired right.
Can't find the other connector end to this.
For alternator to starter?
Ground cable?
Hello all, I've been putting my engine together, everything is done, except for the alternator, which I forgot how it goes (I made the mistake of not writing this down before disassembly). I'm not sure where the big cable in the picture goes or connects to what, I could've sworn one end goes on the starter. As well as the other cable by the upper radiator hose, or the connector hanging from down under. If anyone can explain or provide pictures of how these go, I'd greatly appreciate it. This is on 06 Rev up, manual transmission, grand touring.

Your starter grounds itself to the chassis
you have a cable that runs from the starter to the alternator and continues to the fuse box up near your battery.
the brown wire connector looks inconsistent with two wire signal that goes to the alternator it may be a signal wire to the starter...

starter solenoid is typically a single wire grey connector
That short cable could be what bonds the battery neg to the chassis.
like bealjk said batt to alt to starter. And for safety sake..get a new cable with the rubber grommets. You have live voltage there and you can weld nicely with it.

Sorry for the late update, got it connected properly now, but I still can't find out where that connector goes to. Doesn't the AC condenser have a connector? I may have forgotten to put it in when I put the car back together.

ac condensor has a 3 wire connector for pressure switch
ac compressor has a single wire connector for clutch
Other items in the area of the starter:
ps pump pressure (should be 3 wire)
oil pressure sender (should be 3 wire)
some models had oil temp sensor....wiring unknown to me and varies
i just dont recognize that connector. Can you get better picture?
