Coolant
hey so earlier I was driving nornal city speeds and all of a sudden my temperature gage started to rise in temperature. I was close to my destination so I just pulled in and opened the hood. I opened the coolant resivoir and it was bubbling (level looked fine) so I waited for a little about (15 min) and then I drove to autozone to ask them about it. As i headed to autozone i noticed that the gage would only go up when i turned the ac on. The autozone reffered me to a mechanic and as i drove to the mechanic I noticed that the gage was reading normal and the ac was still off. I get to the mechanic and he tells me hell check it out tommrow so i drive home, on my way home the temperature gage was still reading normal. Once i got home i went inside for a little (about 20min) then i went back outside and checked out the coolant and noticed that there was very little coolant in the resiovir I took the car for a ride around and the temperature gage stayed regular. Then I added coolant to the max level because the level was extremely low. I then took the car for another ride and again the temperature gage was normal. Im posting to see if this may be a problem other then my coolant being low. Also my ac heat (on full blast and hotest temperature) when I was not driving the air would be kinda warm but once I started to drive the heat of the air went up significantly. Thanks for any opinions 😊

First off, don't double post the same question. Second, when was the last time you replaced the radiator cap? In my experience, they can become defective after 5-7 years and cause a slow, but steady release of coolant.
Lol i didnt mean to post it twice and i did not know how to delete one of them. Ive had the car for year n i havnt changed the cap since. Im not sure if the previous owner changed it or not. Im gunna check it once it cools
