High temperature when not driving
Hello all,
I recently had a problem with my 350z. When I start the engine and get in traffic, so the car moves slowly, temperature rises a lot. Even touches the red bar zone.
Coolant starts boiling and even my engine generates a lot of smoke.
If I start driving again, fresh air enters and temperature goes down to normal levels.
I thought it could be a thermostat problem so I changed it. After a month, more or less, issues happened again.
I spotted that only one of both main fans works. I don't know if its normal or not.
What are your thoughts about it? I thought temperature sensor might do the issue too...
Thanks in advance

Could be many things. Get the fans working 1st. Other possibilities -
Air in cooling system,
Clog in heater core,
Restricted catalytic converter.
Search for the Burb thread to get the air out. gl
