Default Need HELP! Running lights and radio stay on after car is off?

Hello, I have a 2006 350z Touring, and every time after turning my car and the headlight switch off, my running lights and radio will stay on indefinitely... UNLESS I bump the mirror adjust switch to the left or right, only then is all power switched off as normal. This is with the key off as well as the headlights.

The only changes(electrical) made to the car is a Pioneer stereo. I had the stereo installed for almost 2 years prior to this issue happening. It started happening ~6 months ago and I have just made a habit of hitting the mirror adjust switch as I'm getting out. However, I really want to get this fixed as I am selling the car. ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED!

Being you have a Touring do you also have the DVD Navigation system? I know those are harder to wire than the non Navi systems like mine. I knew someone that had a electrical problems after trying to install a aftermarket stereo on a Z with Navi and it turned out to be an issue with the IPDM.

When you tapped the constant power wire on the Pioneer stereo, did you solder it or use some kind of crimp connector? The reason I ask is because a lot of times, installers will tap into the mirror switch fuse since it's available and doesn't carry a constant load. If they used crimp connectors, it's possible that they've lost their grip over time and are now causing voltage issues with the shared mirror circuit, which may be affecting your BCM and thus causing the symptoms you're experiencing.

On stereo installs, I either go with a fuse tap, dump the crimp connector and just solder the wires together or I'll use a harness adapter where all of the wire connections are accounted for and solder away. Sometimes, the wires between the aftermarket HU and the factory-to-aftermarket adapter don't all line up, which makes tapping into an unrelated circuit necessary.

It'd be helpful if you could do a BCM scan, but short of that, you might want to pull the stereo out and see if it's tapped into the mirror motor switch. If it is, get an appropriate "Add-a-fuse ATO ATC tap piggyback" and use that as a power source. Your fuse box next to the dead pedal will accommodate one of those without any problems.
