Default 350Z Garage Tools: Which lift is best lift?

Hello Fellow Z owners,

I've been doing some digging around online and couldn't find any detailed information regarding home garage lifts and which make/model will best suit a Z33. I'm hoping to get some opinions from fellow Z owners who have purchased/owned/used a "mid-lift" system in their home/garage.

Which model did you decide on? Why?
What do you like about it?
What don't you like about it?
Which model would you recommend if you could pick?

I'm personally looking at a Quick Jack system (BL-5000SLX or BL-7000SLX), I would have preferred the MaxJax (DanMar M-6) but my home sits on a post-tensioned slab, which would require me to hire a specialist with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to scan the slab for suitable anchor locations (very costly and no guarantee I will find a suitable location for the lift's posts...My garage configuration has me limited in terms of height and post placement).

The biggest downside to the Quick Jack systems is the limited lift height they offer (about 20"). Good enough for rolling around on a creeper, but nowhere near enough for doing something like a clutch job. Looking forward to getting your input. Mods, please move this thread if I posted in the wrong sub-forum.
Thanks!

Wow, no input from anybody? Should I post this is a different sub-section or nobody gets this fancy with their home tools on here?

I ran a Bend Pack mid-rise scissor lift and I didnt like it. I didnt feel safe working around the car - it would raise the car up to about 4ft. It was great for brakes / wheels / suspension but was useless for anything drivetrain/engine work.

it was heavier than it looks and if you have a lowered car than the lift wouldnt fit underneath it. I ended up selling it

Id love to get a 2-post at some point in time.

I do like the quick-jack and at/around $1k it's not too bad.

Thanks for the input beall. I looked at scissor lifts early on and quickly knocked them off my list. I need the ability to do exhaust work, diff work, clutch work (hydraulics), oil changes, etc. So far the Quick Jack seems to tick all the boxes except for lift height. No way will I be able to drop the transmission and roll it out of the transmission tunnel with that amount of working room. Luckily clutch changes aren't something I expect to be doing often.
