Default New 2007 350z owner, need tips for maintenance?

New to cars, and don't really know much about them. Recently purchased an automatic 07 Touring with 40k miles on it. Put on about 5k since, everything has been running smooth. Changed the oil and replaced the tires, but aside from that, I need to learn how to maintain a car. Any advice?

Seeing that you dont have any immediate issues with the car - just stay up-to-date on the forum and see what other z owners are up against. This will give you a good idea of how the cars need to be maintained for longevity.

Other than that just enjoy the car!

For general car maintenance, would keeping up on oil changes every 3k miles be enough? Are there any other preventative measurements I can take to avoid problems in the long term? Haha I need a book

whatever your service manual says for oil change intervals along with the oil filter and air filter. I'd also change auto-trans fluid per the service manual along with power steering. I tend to flush & bleed the brakes every time I do a brake job.

other than that try to keep the car clean inside & out and you'll be good.

Why dont you post up some pictures of the car?
