Unhappy Exhaust Manifold Gasket- Related to Misfire? Gasket Install Difficulty?

Whats up guys? I have what I THINK is an exhaust manifold gasket leak. I drove the car for a good while with cylinder 4 (driver's side) misfiring and a slowly developed a leak from that area. I'm not sure if they are related. I need to do some more investigating but I think it is the manifold. Based on the prior misfiring, does that make sense? How difficult is the replacement of the gasket in comparison to installing a driver's side header (which I have heard is a big job)? Does the steering knuckle have to be detached, cat removed etc, or can the gasket be fitted without a complete tear down of the area. I searched for a DIY here and on YouTube and didn't find anything. Thanks for any useful experience you guys can share.

An exhaust manifold leak will not cause a misfire
