Default Fuel Gauge Still Not reading properly after repair

Hey guys so I currently have the same problem it seems 99% of Z owners inevitably face. The fuel gauge was not reading properly on my 2004 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast, so in doing my research i replaced both the fuel pump (behind the passenger) and the fuel level sensor (behind the driver). After replacing it now my gas gauge just stays on the 3/4 mark not dropping any lower.I know this has been talked about before in this group but i could not find anything about the gas gauge not working after replacing with new parts. Thanks guys!
