What triggers and ignition and injector cut?
Hi all,
I have a 2003 350z non rev up. I completed an OEM engine rebuild and upon installation I have a no start issue. The root cause is I have no injector pulse or ignition spark.
My only question is what system would cause an injector and ignition cut simultaneously?
Here is a list of tests I have already performed:
-All coil pack connectors have 12v ignition power, constant ground and continuity to trigger outputs on ecu
- all injectors have 12v ignition power and continuity to trigger outputs on ecu
-battery to body ground good
-body to 2x motor grounds good
-loom to engine ground good
-NATS system good, red light blinks with ignition off and goes out with ignition on, with brand new keys confirmed working.
-no codes present
any help or ideas where to test next would be greatly appreciated!

so I did a test on the crank angle sensor. The middle wire is fed a constant 9 volts and when you touch something metal to the end of the sensor it drops to zero (or the other way around) however this only happens intermittently and sometimes it has no power and touching it makes it have 9v so I’m certain this is the issue. Will update when I change it but hope this helps someone else out on how to test their own sensor
