Default Vdc slip light on after a few minutes of driving.

So when I start my car my vdc is on and I can press the button and turn it off. But after a few minutes of driving it turns off and my traction control does not work and I can’t turn it back on by pressing the button. I slide the car so it’s not the biggest deal but at least in the rain it kinda helps. Anyone know what the problem might be let me know pls.

According to the FSM, if the VDC OFF indicator lamp and the SLIP indicator lamp are turned on, then that is a sign of Throttle Control System (TCS) trouble and a fail-safe function is activated so that the Z operates like a vehicle without VDC or TCS and the ABS continues to operate normally.

There are a lot of different conditions and factors which are constantly being monitored, so unless you have a CONSULT-II, it's probably best to take it to a certified Nissan mechanic who has one in order to properly diagnose the issue.
