2003 Rear Defroster/Defogger Location
First post here because no one else can seem to help. I've looked through the full service manual and I can't find where the relay for the rear defogger is. The only thread I've seen says it's near the "passenger glove box area" and i have no idea where that's at. I've checked the IPDM E/R fuses and driver side fuses and all of them were good, but the rear defroster still doesn't work. I push the button and it doesn't light up and there's no click. Anybody have any pictures or diagrams of where the relay is? The full service manual mentions that it goes through/to the relay terminals, but i don't see where it's shown. Any help?
from a prior post - fuses are Fuse #75 and #80 in the IPDM. Both 20A fuses. and There is a fuse, and the brown relay is in the passenger glove box area, close to the center console bolted vertically to the speaker tower.
they way i am reading it, they are talking about the glove box behind the passenger seat

You will have to remove the panels behind the seats more so on the passenger side. The fuse and relay area is near the center where the AUX/light plug is located. The problem is you have to take 20 pieces apart to get one piece off. Careful not to break any clips and remember to loosen the center console by removing the back two bolts.
I don't have a write up. I just replaced that relay before. I will probably recheck the other relays and fuses in the spring since my defrost still does not work.
