Default Smog with a swapped ECU

Hey all I have a vortec V3 SC kit on my 350z but I don’t have the carb approved tune. So I’m assuming I won’t pass smog now with the new California law on tunes. I tuned it on my oem ecu and I was gonna convert back to stock to pass. I got the original parts but my question is about my ecu it is from another 350z same year and model 2006 base with a stock tune. What do I need to do in order to pass smog with the new ECU? Regarding NATS and the mis match VIN etc…

Put your tune on the new ECU with NATS disabled. Revert the original ECU to stock. Pass SMOG with the original ECU in, then swap the tuned one in after.
