03 350z DE only revs to 3k WOT and small miss-fire
So ive had this car for about 4 months now, its an 03 350z DE. When I bought it they advertised “rolling anti lag” - basically at like 80%+ throttle when it hits 3000 rpm in any gear it fuel cuts.
I figured when I bought it it just had a garbage tune. I later found out the car is most likely in limp mode. So far I have not been able to find the problem. The only thing ive found is the car only does it at operating temp. If I unplug the temp sensor it stops doing it.
Also, when I did the valve covers, intake gaskets, injector o rings, and spark plugs it started to have a slight miss fire around 2800 rmps in 4th-6th gear.
The car popped a p00021 code twice after that for bank 2 timing, and bank 1 sensor 2 o2. They also reappeared when I did an oil change a week later. After that they never came back.
Car still has both issues, when I read live data nothing seems off. My aFr gauge shows high 14 - low 15s at idle, high 12s- low 13s at higher rpm/throttle.
What i've done so far:
-Cleaned the hot air intake (it was coved in rubber)
-replaced all vacuum lines
-Valve covers and gaskets
-Spark plugs (bosch)
-Upper and lower intake/plenum gaskets
-VTC gaskets and cleaned
-Injector o-rings
-Valve cover crossover hose
-Cleaned throttle body and gasket
-Pvc Valve
-ecu, throttle body, and air reset.
-coolant temp sensor
-Bank 1 sensor 2 downstream o2
-oil change w/filter
“Mods” on the car:
-short ram intake
-plenum spacer
-aluminum radiator (unknown brand)
-rev 9 oil catch can (non baffled)
-unknown uprev tune
