Brake fluid keeps dropping but no leaks?
Hello, I've noticed that my brake fluid level significantly decreases after each drive, yet there are no apparent leaks from the lines, calipers, or master cylinder. I've recently upgraded my 2003 base model with Brembo brakes from the track edition. Prior to installation, I rebuilt the calipers, and they appear to function properly while driving. Could anyone suggest what might be causing this issue? Thank you!
How does the pedal feel? You might simply have air in the system. When bleeding the front Brembos, you need to remove the upper caliper bolt, loosen the lower one, and rotate the caliper forward so the bleeders are nearly vertical. I like to start with the outside bleeder screw, then do the inside.
To be on the safe side, I would also take a close look at the caliper piston seals and look for signs of slow seepage.
When you rebuilt them, did you split the calipers or only do the piston seals?
Cheers!

I was wrong actually, turns out that it was one of the hard lines going into the master cylinder that was leaking. I tightened it up a little bit and topped off my brake fluid and it seems like it's fixed.
Nice! Yes, always double check those flare connections whenever you have to mess with them. What I like to do is have a buddy hold pressure on the brake pedal after wiping down everything with brake clean. With pressure on the pedal, I systematically go through and inspect for any drips or seepage. Keeping pressure on the system exposes even a minor leak quickly. Best to get that sorted before even going on a test drive.
Glad you got it figured out quickly!
Cheers!
