And what if the transmission can't be fixed? What if it is an inherent design issued that causes the failures? Do you really want to void your warranty in that case?

why would you do the work anyhow? even with a helms manual for the Z, unless you have much experience working with trannys, especially close gearing trannys as in the Z, then i would recommend taking it to a reputable nissan dealership.
