I got in a pretty minor accident a while back, and my fender got a chip in it. probably an inch wide, the paint peeled off and then it rusted...is this normal? I still haven't gotten it fixed, but I thought new cars weren't supposed to rust... Any ideas?

 

Steel exposed to the air will rust. Get the spot repaired and you will be ok.
