I have an 04 Track with 2100 miles on it and if Superior Nissan gets their act together, Performance Nissan's awesome crew will be swapping it out tomorrow. Stupid Superior still hasn't processed the Retail Sale paperwork so my VIN doesn't show up as ever being sold yet...pretty sure i'm gonna screw them over on their survey now.

Anyhow, I was having problems with:
-2nd+3rd gear was getting harder to engage
-Tranny whines at all times and at all speeds
-Funky loud *** chatter/grr-grr-grrr noise when taking off from a start.

So if any of you 04 drivers notice any of the above, get it checked out by a GOOD dealership! Superior also told me the above noises were all NORMAL and that I was causing them!!

 

that sound you get from taking off when you start your engine is a problem with many Z's, but that doesn't worry people that much.
