Have any of you had to order any body parts for your 350z?

My car has been in the shop for a month now. They said it took 2.5 weeks to get in the parts, but they had to send the hatch back because it was damaged. It's been 1.5 weeks or so after they've ordered it and still nothing.

Is this the average time it takes to get this stuff in? Do these parts come directly from Japan or something?

This all resulted from a wreck where I was rear ended over a month ago....I had just had the car for 2 weeks.....

Hey somebody is going to be looking for some missing body parts if I dont get my Z back soon!

I've made 2 payments on the thing and have only driven it for a few days!

Today I got a call from the shop and they gave me that number too....

I called and they said that the parts come from Japan, and it can take awhile. My hatch is supposed to be in sometime between the 16th and the 24th. Hopefully it will be on the low end of that.

My local Nissan place was really cool about me hitting them with questions. I decided to ask about the tire problem and transmission stuff, and the guy said that they have replaced a few of them, and if I had any trouble to come by and they can check the alignment.

He also told me that one of the sales guys had a 350z and he had to wait for 2 months to get his hatch in.....

I'm generally a patient fellow, but I someone needs to get some stuff movin. The Dealership told me it can be much better if the owner calls and complains to that number rather than the dealership. He said they call and complain all the time but sometimes when the owner calls Nissan takes it a little more seriously, even though Nissan tells the dealerships that it makes no difference....

Who knows....

I just want my damn parts in and the car fixed.....
