Default Does warranty cover rubber mouldings?

One of the rubber molding / weather stripping pieces between the window and door frame is torn. I think that it tore because my window regulator is not adjusted properly, and forces the window higher than it should. Are rubber parts covered by the warranty, or am I out of luck?

If the tear in the weather stripping was caused by a malfunction in the window regulator, it definitely should be covered. I certainly would explain it that way when you talk to the dealer.

pictures?

on my car, it's noticeable because the triangular flap of rubber sticks out and flaps in the wind... no good...
I can try to get pictures later...
