I was driving today and was adjusting my rear view mirror because occasionally my subs cause it to move and as i was adjusting it, it ended up hanging freely in my hand!!! the shaft that connects to the part on the front windshield that moves when you adjust the mirror broke! not a clean brake either, it was all messed up.

has this happened to anyone else?

now i gotta go to the dealership again... (at least i already have an appointment for tranny replacement on thursday)

That must be one loud set of subs to break that part.

 

i hope this won't keep happening because of the subs, especially since it'll be upgraded this week to a 10W7 (the w3v2's are not loud, and more importantly, clean enough!).
