Is there a TSB for this? The plastic molding on the left side of my seat has come apart at the seam. It's pretty annoying and is poking me in the ***.

Not that I know of. Mine came apart about a week after I purchased the car ( 1 1/2 year ago ). I took it in once to have it looked at and the service manager said that they would replace it but only once and then it would be with the same "cheap" plastic crap that is there now.

He advised me to wait until near the end of the warranty period to see if they eventually come out with a better part to replace it.

 

i believe there is a tsb for this. i had my seat fixed last week...no mention of only a one time repair

 

Dissolved I know you also have a **** load of problems as I with your Z. Have you had the seat skins replaced. Mine came apart after they changed the skin bottom for the drivers side seat for the side bolster seat wear TSB they send out the seat to an upholstery shop. I noticed that the clips had been broken and the plastic was marred from those pry/pick thingys they use. Told the service advisor and he replaced it but did not think I was going to notice. This is my second time for the seat bolster coming undone they had also scratched my kick panel, side finisher, seatbelt bolt cover and side skirt. I am raising hell and having them seat skins replaced one more time before the warranty ends.Always check your **** before you leave dealer I.E. door dings, broken clips, greasy finerprints, leaky valve cover gaskets, scratched rims (lips and lug holes), rattles, mileage before and after and of course Mickey Mouse.

 

thanks guys. Yea boxsterkiller, there are a few problem I need to get ironed out. Pisses me off. For example, I have been waiting for my god damn new front tires for 6 months now. I cant even begin to describe the other problems. Nissan customer service sucks a$$. All they do is pass the buck to one another.

 

Dissolved do you have a preorder 03 Z I also waited a long time for those tires and went they came in scratched rims you too right. I always see you on all the same problems posts. Good Luck save those service work orders might need them some day.

 

Not preorder but early build (9/03). On my 2nd tranny (as many of us '03 boys are) All in all I love this car. I just want my damn tires.
