Default DIY fix...???

I just noticed that my fuel filler door is not sitting flush with the q.panel. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is it an easy DIY fix/adjustment?

take it in and get a new one. if you havent had the TSB done for it yet just tell them the right things and they will replace the stoppers and the springs in it for free. the TSB came out a few months ago and addresses the annoying problem of the fuel door not always opening on the first push of the release button inside the car. say thats what is happening with yours and see if they can get it flush. i wouldnt make an extra trip for it, just have it done on the next oil change or maintenence stop. if you have had the TSB done already then i cant help ya. good luck
