Do a search for a copy of the service manual. It will spell it out step by step.

Which shaft are you referring to?

Its NOT required for the 350Z. Read the manual, only for the Exterra and a few others. Not the Z.

Do not worry about it my friend. Don't feel bad, I asked the same question.

I'm not so sure about that. The service manual says that the drive shaft requires lubrication at pretty frequent intervals. This is probably just the U joints.

I'm wondering this too. I have the service manual and didn't see anything about lubricating the shaft. Is it just BS to get you to take your car to the dealer for a $200 oil change?

You don't lubricate the Z propeller shaft. It's only in the service guide because Nissan uses the exact same service guide for all models.
