Volk Wheel Damage
As a result of swerving right to avoid a collision (with a careless lady who wanted to change lanes without signaling or looking), my front right wheel made parallel contact with the curb, and the entire outer lip of the wheel is now scratched.
Fortunately no damage to my right front fender or tire, and alignment seems perfectly intact, but everytime I see the wheel I feel like I'm going to be sick. Its primarily cosmetic damage, could use sanding here and there, but the light color of the scratched aluminum underneath the paint is hard not to notice.
Any ideas on repair that arent as costly as having the wheel professionally re-coated, not to mention me being without my means of getting to work for a day or more..
I'm a bit reluctant to use touch up paint, I know that can look worse if the color is off.
