So the teins have their own bumpstops then? How much should I cut? I dont want it super super low, but having capability to do 1.5 - 1.8" appeals to me. I heard that the rear can be modified by takeing out part of the collar? Apparently that gives 3/8" extra out back. W/E you guys recommend I'll do. I will never cut the spring

MIKE BTW: please call me as soon as ya can...are you slammed all the way front and rear? Post more pics...

thanks!

My Tein Basics came with bumpstops that lodged itself into the gold spring seat. (If I was at home I'd post pics for ya, but internet is down). They're pretty much identical to stock so you'll have two sets. I'd imagine they're cheap to replace in case you screw up, but I doubt it since it's fairly straight forward.

If you already have modified bumpstops from your previous setup, you should just use those. If not, you can shave about a half inch to 3/4 of an inch off of them. If you do too much you can always offset it with the adjustable coilover. Just be careful to cut just enough where the bumpstop still firmly sits against the chasis.

You'll know what I mean when you've gotten everything and taken the rear springs out.

Good luck, post pics.

Ok so my Tein Basics came today. I'm at a crossroads. I'm going to be running 19x9.5" +19 and 19x10.5 +17 with Toyo T1-R on 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 rears. Do you guys think I could get away with 1.5-1.8" drop all the way around? I'm not looking to go as low as JDM the front will be lil higher and the rear will be slamemd. What do you guys think about how far I could go front and rear with those offsets (rear will be rolled fenders).

I'm having a hard time finding these so called "bump stops". Are they the black rubber looking donut shaped objects? Please let me know if cutting these will help me dump the rears more. They are like 3-4 inch diameter if not larger.

Thanks!

Don't worry about factory bumpstops with the Tein Basics. The Teins should come with supplemental ones.
