I still love the looks of the Vertex kit. Anybody have any experience with "eracings" vertex kits? I know SpeedAliance has been mentioned. Are there others that are selling guality Vertex replicas?
Thanks,
Bruce

Hello everyone,
I know I have introduced myself in the past, and some of you know how I am affiliated with Speed Alliance/Vertex USA, but let me re-introduce myself for you guys posting currently =)
My name is Prashant, I run a shop called Motor Tuned, www.motortuned.com (website is not online, but in the near future it will be!)
I am affiliated directly with Speed Alliance/Vertex USA in the sense that:
1) Their marketing and sales staff member, Pete is my business partner for my other website, ImportFactor.com. He is the cofounder of the website.
2) I am a authorized reseller for Vertex USA
Now with that being said, I strongly discourage replica body kits. There is a reason why these kits are "expensive" and that is because of the fact that they are a quality piece with guaranteed fitment, each stamped with a unique serial number for proof of authenticity.
Vertex has a very strict pricing structure. If you are an authorized dealer and are advertising publicly Vertex kits below MSRP pricing, you are breaching resell terms with Speed Alliance/Vertex USA. You can offer lower pricing on the kits, but it cannot be published publicly. Therefore, in regards to Face Auto, since they are not posting the Vertex kit online on their website (from what I could see) they are probably not an authorized source. So you might receive a fake, or the real deal, it is hard to know -- it is a gamble.
Speed Alliance is the main USA importer for Vertex, however there are other people who can bring it in from Japan.
So to sum this up:
- Knock offs are bad =)
- If you want real Vertex, you have to pay the price and wait it out. The next container for Vertex comes into the States around Jan. 2006.
I hope this can help clear things up for you guys
JisNis and RedLeader, I have sent you both a PM! Have a great day!

any pics of a pearl white 350z with a half vertex kit .?? ( beside of the official pictures or VERTEX )....i am still not decided which one ( full or half ) ... i have some 441r HRE ( black face with polish lips ) to match with it...
I personaly do not have any more pictures but let me tell you, you will be happy either way.
The full and half kit are exactly the same in terms of looks minus the front. The sides and rear are the same exact style.
So I think if you can decide on which front end you like, either full front bumper, or OEM bumper with the lip, you will be able to decide on a half or full kit.
I personaly love the lip but I am going to shove a FMIC in there so I just changed my mind and am switching to a full kit instead. I love the way the lip looks though =\
Plus I do not really want to keep the OEM bumpers around since they take up so much room but it is ok, I will make it work (I do not want to sell them).
Hope this helps!

I haven't seen a PPW w/ the Half Kit but I did see some pics of this guy's PPW in SoCal that has the Full Bumper Kit. I've been trying to track him down so he can post pics here so if anyone knows him, can you please tell him about this thread? TIA.
