Default Pics from Monterey Concours De'Elegance

Pics from Monterey Concours De'Elegance. I didn't have my digital camera so I had to use disposables and the quality isn't all there.

It was a great night, Ferraris and Porsches were like Hondas and toyotas, they were everywhere! I saw 2 Mclaren F1, a Ferrair F40, & 60 but no film left. Every corner of downtown there was a car show and displays. I highly recommend everyone to attend this event. Its free because all the car companies and clubs displays are actually OUTSIDE of the main event. You just showed up and walk around. (its a week long event with racing at La guna Seca and many many other free events. some events go on till 2am) It was like being in a endless corn field full of exotic cars for seven days.

Someone needs to tell the owner of that Ferrari that someone seemed to have played a cruel joke and glued carpet all over his dash ;P

Nice NOS setup though O.o

Which McLaren did you see, there was a red and a blue one. I saw a Ferarri 328GTO and fell deep in love with it. To bad its almost a cool $1mil.

I'm flying my brothers out next year for the event, hopefully in the future they will allow Nissan as the theme vehicle but I don't see it happening when you got Lambos, ferrari, bugatti, Panzo, Masarattis etc...standing in line.

I wish there was a Bugatti Vyron there, that would be awsome.

By the way, the S7 was for sale. Didn't have a price tag, it was up for auction.

No, the Concours is held all over the country but the most famous one is in Monterey/Carmel/Pebble Beach/Lacuna Seca Raceway, CA. All major auto mags cover this event, its the superbowl of car shows right along with the detorit and Geneva car show.

However, I left for CA a week shy of the Grand Prix race in Denver, really wanted to see that one.

Ah...I see. dang....I wish it was here. That would be awesome!

I see Ferraris and Lambos all over town, but would be great to see several in one place. Paragon Enterprises off Arapahoe often has F40s, F50s, and Diablos parked outside. And then there are always Nuggets games with exotic car galore outside the Pepsi Center! I saw Carmello A's Saleen there last April. Amazing car to see in person....

I agree, he lives on Jewell St. between Sheridan and Wadsworth up in the gated community. I see him jogging on Jewell all the time since I live near there. Where is Paragon Enterprises at? Never seen it.

Paragon is off Arapahoe, about a mile or so east of John Elway Nissan. I think they are either an uber high-end custom place or importers of exotics, more probably the latter. During the day, there are almost always exotics in their parking lot. At night, their glass-walled showroom shows off exotics to all drivers on Arapahoe. But you sort of have to look for it; it's pushed a good 100 feet or so off the road. The only Ferrari F50 i've ever seen in person was there.

FWIW there was a silver Mclaren as well, and there were multiple Bugatti Veyrons as well -- both were are shows with high admission prices though (the quail and the pebble beach concourse). They were doing test drives on the Veyron if you put down a deposit.

Did you see an Enzo at all? There was one for auction in a tent at concorso italiano, but did you see any on the road or elsewhere?

No, didn't see any Enzos. There were more than one Vyrons? test drives for a deposit ehhhh? I would've of done it, I had twenty bucks on me!
I did saw a Jag XJ2200 that was being acution at the starting price of $200k. don't these cars go for like $250k?

What really blew me away was how much money there was in the air. Everywhere you turn, you just know that these ppl had probably millions of dollars in their wallet.
