As for the original subject of this thread - the kid has a nice car, and I don't care how he got it (as long as it was legal of course). Hating on him only highlights the ignorance, immaturity and self-hatred of some of the posters on the forum; they are the ones who deserve our sympathy. The kid who owns the black Z sounds like he is being trained to be a great driver by parents who care, rather than becoming the average self-taught "street racer" who posts on these boards. I'd rather drive the roads with him at the wheel than many of them...sorry if that truth hurts.

Honestly, would anyone here buy their kid a car that fast for their first car? I know from personal experience it's not a good idea. Maybe I was just immature? I had a fast.. modified Mustang with 10K into it .. I ran it into a tree. Right after that I decided to get a safer, slower car for a while.. that's when I bought the bimmer. Now that I'm a bit older and feel like I can handle it.. I've gone out and baught myself a Z. All these cars were paid for by me, but it doesn't change the fact that I was too immature to handle the power. I believe when I have a kid his first car will not be a fast car NOR a POS. It will be a safer BMW. Not brand new but not *** old either. We all know what kids are like and having an old POS just isn't too fun..
