When have we heard for sure the Brickyard color will be dropped after this year? I have heard a lot of speculation, but no one has said definitively. I know a lot of us would like it to be so we will have a rarer color, but who knows for sure?

Not tryin to be sarcastic, but I heard that Brentwood was a good city, & I have heard that a basketball player got his Bentley shot up & his passenger shot, a girl & her boyfriend got their throats slashed & the dog has flashbacks & is now in a mental hospital. I might say Inglewood is not bad at all. I roll it like I roll anywhere else, let alone roll my convertible Z or my Infiniti.

How do you keep your vehicle safe?

Not taking it mean at all..

I understand what you are saying, but I used to live in Downey and even the ghettoest of cars would get jacked over there. I'm always worried about my car being stolen or broken in to since there are not that many and you gotta admit it looks like a very expensive car. Sorry if it came out like an insensitive remark.

Smile Inglewood's all good

Just wanted to say I've been living in Inglewood for years and I own a Chev Tahoe and a new 350z. I have never had any thing happen to my cars at all. However I stayed with a friend one evening in OC only to find in the morning my Doors on my Tahoe had been tampered with. hummm. My point is this, no one place is safer than another. If someone wants your car, they will get it.
Keeping the Peace.....

Butterfly, no problem, I won't take it as an insensitive remark, as a matter of fact, I will give U a chance to make it up to me, by taking me out or something.

How's that?

I hope your boyfriend isn't a MY350Z member.

Aelius,

That looks like it was taken off Paradise Drive... Either that or maybe the stretch of E Blithdale that runs over to Corte Madera.

I grew up in Tiburon, I could probably drive Paradise Drive blindfolded I drove that so many times back when I had my Z32

Take Care

Actually, it's on the Panoramic Highway, where the road descends from the crest and wends its way to the shore at Stinson Beach.

Here's another at the Japanese Tea Garden.

Default Ask Dr. Bonz

My wife, who is a nurse practitioner in kidney/liver transplant, when invited to inspect the Brickyard on which I had worked for the previous seven hours. The sun now no longer shone directly on the car, and she admitted that it looked nice, opining that it was liver colored, although, to be sure, a healthy liver color. Not eggplant or aubergine, wild current or dark cherry, port or claret, but liver.

Can our marriage be saved?

lol. She called it a healthy liver color, though, so all should be good.

I think we brick folks should rename our color. "Brickyard" does not conjure good feelings. Furthermore, my car color looks nothing like any brick I have ever seen. I certainly have never seen a metal flake brick. I think I'm going to start calling it black cherry. I like that one. It is not maroon, thank you very much. Maroon is lighter. Look at any car or paint labelled maroon and it will be much lighter than ours. Usually this color and those close are labeled black cherry. I don't think eggplant is right either because mine at least isn't purple at all.

I don't know what maroon looks like on your planet but here in Texas it looks like the color of my car...Thank YOU very much.

I have to agree that I have to idea where the brickyard name relates other than a track name to stay in line with the theme.

That's just an Aggie thing. If you were at OU, you'd be saying it is crimson. Actually, you aren't completely wrong though. Aggie maroon is not really maroon, it is much darker.

I guess I am kinda bias. Sorry. But we can all agree that the color is obviously maroon.
