that looks great with the spacers. the proper offset really makes the stance look much more aggressive. is installing the spacers just as easy as bolting them on, or is there more involved?

Wow that really makes your car look very good and unique. Thats also a much cheaper alternative to buying wider wheels. Congrats on the very successful mod.

The spacers I got are Project KICS and they are a very good quality product. The instructions came in Japanese so I had to find the proper torque specs online, but other than that, it is just a simple bolt on spacer.

I'm under the impression that some spacers (H&R?) you need to disassemble the hub and put in the longer stud extensions, but for these, its a simple 45 minute bolt on procedure.

I paid $250ish for the 2 sets of spacers...

Thanks for all the compliments. More pics to come once lowered.

I got the spacers from EvasiveMotorsports.com.

Generally speaking they are a good group to work with. I was a little worried after I paid 3 day shipping on a Monday for them and they hadn't shipped by Wednesday night (and they needed to go Cali to PA), however Evasive sent them 2 day priority to me on Wed. night so I could have them by Friday.

I love the somewhat simple route you took with your car. The VeilSide kit is mild, but very nice, as are the G35 wheels. Kudos.

I don't think I'll be doing any cutting and welding of my RAYS forged wheels... interesting idea, but not for me.

I'll just run as big a tire I can on them, and quit at that.

More than likely won't be tracked anyway other than now and then for fun.

It definitely looks that way, but I need to take a wheel off and look at the back. I don't see how it would be hitting the mounting pad of the wheel b/c the wheel is FLUSH on the spacer. You can even fit a piece of paper between the wheel and spacer.

Okay... I did some further inspection.

The studs do indeed stick out past the spacer as pictured here:

However, the geniuses at RAYS are not called genius for nothing. They designed the RAYS G35 wheel with spacers in mind. Here is a pick of the mounting plate/hub part of the wheel. You can see where the studs bolt the wheel on and you can see the huge empty spaces in between the studs. The studs sticking through the spacers fit perfectly in these holes.

Pretty nifty.
