You got pretty lucky having that small amount of damage. The Z tends to explode when it gets hit in the nose by blunt objects such as a Ford Ranger driven by an idiot driver who doesnt abide by red lights like so :

Thats crazy. There wasnt much room to really get speed to slam into the wall, btw. I was spinning in a tunnel then the wall stopped my drifting.

I'm another one of those if I weren't wearing my seatbelt...(a friend was driving and lost control)

Now I know why you needed pain killers..I personally never end up using my prescrips but I'm not driving to Staten Island when you could get something better from someone local .

 

seatbelts are overrated! (unless you have a ZR )

ouch, glad you are ok... but 1. wear your seat belt and 2. when it is wet out... don't drive like a maniac. did they give you a ticket for too fast for conditions? guess you learned the lesson of don't drive your car faster than you can control it - unless you are on the track. good thing they were only cones and not some little kid on a bike
