oh cool--you should have had your nanny wax the car for you, that way you could have spent more time buying mods online.

I could buy more expensive rims but I am saving some for college money.
If i cant get any for that range I'll prob just keep it stock for now until I get enough for them.

And does anyone else get horrible gas mileage? I rarely push it too hard and mostly drive slowly but i seem to get like only 20 mpg mixed with 50/50 city / highway driving

lol, why the spoiled comments, if he is saving money for college, and not looking to mod his Z (very smart) he more then likely isnt spoiled, dont hate!

Just get some nice lower profile tires and lowering springs for $1K, the stock wheels will be fine for now, and you will be lowered and looking good. I notice the Benz dealer plates, next time I go to a Benz dealer I am coming home with a CLS55 lol, I hope I can do that next year. GL with college! BTW, do your parents need some mortgage advice? :P :P

Nah. They dont have a mortage on the house. And to be honest, this car is liek the first time my parents have "spoiled" me. It's my second car, my first was a 1998 Integra. But yeah, thanks for not hating on me. Im trying to save money so I have enough to drive to Uc Davis to see my gf, I'll be at UOP (60 Miles) and have enough money to not work too much so I can focus on studying.

Congrats on the car and good luck with your college ambitions! Good to see you are more sensible than most 17 year olds that come on these forums. Be careful with the car!

Have you thought powdercoating them? Go here and there is a picture of a silver z with powdercoated black oem rims. Looks pretty sweet. https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....owdercoat+rims

It doesn't really matter what age you are as long as you act maturely when driving... Congrats on the car, don't be the next "oops how much will this cost to fix" threads, PLEASE!

UOP is in Stockton. Be careful there with your car. A lot of haters. Never take your car to the southside. Good thing though, Davis is only about a 45 minute drive from UOP.

BTW - If you want some 2006 OEM Z rims with tires/tpm, I will trade you your stock +600 bucks. Tires have 6k miles on them. PM me if you're interested.
