Depending on the wheel drive and engine they put into this, it could have promise.

 

Way too overdone in "concept" form...

Wheels are hideous, seats are hideous, subwoofers on rear deck are hideous, front bumper is hideous...

Tone all that stuff down a little bit and it would be pretty cool looking...

The only problem I see with this (and I thought of it seeing the boost guage) is that to be reaaally cool, it would need to have some power to back it up. And it's not going to take much power out of a turbo 4 banger that weighs 2500lb. to challenge the 350z in straight line performance.

I don't think this will be out until the 350z ante is upped a bit... 380 or 400Z anyone?

Nissan would really risk alienating their 350z and G35 owners if this thing had a turbo RB engine in it... even in FWD form with 220-240 hp weighing in at 2500, they'd be pushing 350z territory in straight-line acceleration (which, as much as we dont' want to believe, is the ONLY thing the north american market cares about)

I dont' think we'll see this in production until the next gen Z comes out
